We would like to say good luck and bye for now to Emily our part-time assistant, who is off to Sheffield University at the end of this month. But we would like to welcome Clare, Emily’s sister as the newest member of our team.
Please Note: It has come to our attention recently that some of the older members of our community in and around Aylesbury have been targeted by a gang conning them into buying Rolex watches and handing the watches over to the scammers. Please can everyone keep an eye out for their friends, family and neighbours to make sure that they do not become a victim of this awful scam which sees elderly people left penniless after handing over the very expensive watches that they have purchased and thought that they would get their money back for. We believe that people are contacted via telephone, and they are told that they’re either helping the police or they have fraudulent money in their bank. Taxis are sent for them to be transported to and from shops, and to collect the items once purchased. We are working with the local police to help spot the signs and prevent this from happening to anyone else.
